The Joys and Challenges of Parenting
The joys and challenges of parenting can sometimes be overwhelming. New parents face physical and emotional changes. Parents with young children face a roller coaster full of difficult decisions and emotions. Parents of teenagers face the difficult task of transitioning their children into adulthood. All parents need a community to support them.
Family Services Center offers a variety of services and seminars to help you and your family navigate the challenges of parenthood and delight in all the joys that children bring! We offer Parent Education Programs for parents of preschoolers and toddlers, school-age and teenage children. We also have special groups for fathers, foster parents, step-families, and separated or divorced parents. Some seminars are available in Spanish.
From the moment you discover you're pregnant or consider adopting a baby, to their first day of college, our programs help both moms and dads manage all of the stages of parenting.
