9th Annual Big Bass Benefit

The Big Bass Benefit for Family Services Center was first held in 2001. The family fun event encourages anglers to come out to Lake Brownwood for a day of fishing and fundraising.
For many of those fishing it is a profitable day as well. The angler who brings in the 'Big Bass' has a guaranteed cash prize of $1000 to take home this year. The remainder of the cash prizes pay out at 80/20 of the entry receipts. With 150 entries 1st place in the Open Division will pay out $2362.50, 2nd - $1012.50 and 3rd - $675. For those who don't place in the money there are traditionally many prizes to choose from. Most years everyone who weighs in a fish takes home a prize. It's well worth the trip to Brownwood. The fishing is great!

2010 Tournament Information…
Divisions:
All entrants must register (or check-in for early registration) either Friday evening or Saturday morning
- Open Division—$50
- Ladies Division—$25
- Juniors Division—$15 *Big Bass included in Open Division, $5 Big Bass option for Ladies and Juniors
- 6:00 am—3:00 pm *Weigh-in Line opens at 2:30 CLOSES at 3:00
